It’s been a while since my last post.
I took time to question direction and purpose.
This space emerged as something that builds toward consistency.

But I couldn’t help wondering, when do we persist in something just to check a box? And when is pausing to recalibrate a necessity?

Self-leadership’s cousin, consistency

Consistency is often defined as a test of character. Push through. Don't break the streak.

But, looking at it from a different angle:

Consistency without direction feels like obedience, not improvement.

One can be incredibly consistent in bad habits (we can all relate to this).

Finding direction means putting order in the chaos of our mental threads.

When we have too many open mental threads, the brain fills with noise. Output drops. Procrastination creeps in. And we freeze.

Our brain was never designed to run infinite threads in parallel.

So, what to do?
